Focus: Thomas founded Alpine (formerly known as Wentworth Securities) in 2012, specialising in Wealth Management. As CIO, he has managed the Multi-Asset Class portfolios (MAP) since inception, with over a decade of strong returns. His background also includes expertise in small to mid-caps and pre-IPO investments, alongside director roles in early-stage innovation accelerators.

Malcolm Nutt
Director
Focus: Malcolm joined Alpine (formerly known as Wentworth Securities) in 2014 and held the position of Managing Director from 2018 - 2022. Malcolm has a deep knowledge of investment markets, portfolio management and corporate activities, he currently sits on the Investment Committee of the Multi-Asset Class Portfolio, facilitates corporate activity and is a Director of the business. Malcolm is a Founding Partner at Cultiv8 and Sparklabs Cultiv8, which are specialist global Agri-food technology funds. Malcolm sits on several small company boards.

Mark Rothlin
Senior Advisor
Focus: Providing wealth management advice to high net wealth investors and family offices. Mark looks to build tailored investment strategies for clients by delivering investment solutions across multiple asset classes. Mark believes capital preservation and appropriate risk adjusted returns are core to any investment strategy framework.

Simon Tritton
Senior Advisor
Focus: Simon has extensive investment experience, with deep connections into mining and junior explorers as a key focus. These connections extend into his advisory relationships, and he has a wealth of knowledge in providing individualised, strategic, investment advice.

Catriona Crookes
Executive Assistant
Focus: Catriona's extensive experience encompasses client and advisor support, administering client accounts, managing portfolios, office systems, back-office operations, client inquiries, and facilitating communication with clients and accountants for reporting. She also oversees compliance in client communication and draws on her organisational skills gained from startup and corporate settings, specialising in agribusiness, marketing, and banking.

Philip Cawood
Head of Institutional Sales
Focus: Phil is an experienced institutional broker with deep experience in servicing a broad range of clients, that also include high-net-worth individuals, and corporations. His role extends to corporate relationships and working closely with corporate advisory teams. This has seen Phil manage and execute countless capital raises for small to medium-sized companies, both listed and unlisted.

Charles Reed
Executive Director - Corporate Finance
Focus: Charles has significant experience across a broad range of financial services including corporate finance, capital markets, sales trading and FX derivatives. Charles has advised and led numerous transactions from private opportunities and pre-IPO through to IPOs, secondary market capital raisings and block trades. Charles maintains strong relationships with both investors and issuers with client coverage across food & agriculture, resources, technology, medical technology and life sciences. In addition to leading the corporate finance team at Alpine Capital Charles currently serves as a non-executive Director for an emerging blood testing company. Charles commenced his financial services career at EY.

James Emonson
Executive Director - Corporate Finance
Focus: Prior to founding Alpine Capital James has advised on a range of ECM assignments, including seed, pre-IPO, IPO and secondary market capital raisings, in addition to buy and sell-side M&A transactions, serving as a Director of Corporate Finance at PAC Partners. James focuses on advising small and mid-cap emerging companies, with a particular focus on the Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining & Industrials, Biotech and Technology sectors.

Joshua Seddon
Analyst - Corporate Finance
Focus: Joshua joined Alpine Capital in June 2023 as an Analyst in the Corporate Finance team. As an Analyst, Joshua specialises in providing Capital Markets and Corporate Advisory services to small and mid-cap ASX listed companies. Joshua’s experience spans a range of corporate finance and strategy services, including capital raisings and providing M&A and private equity due diligence to both public and private companies.

Will Lawson
Investment Committee
Focus: Will joined in 2020, initially working as an Senior Adviser, with specialist areas of focus in Wealth Management and Capital Markets. Will’s role now centres on his Investment Committee and Business Development responsibilities for the Wealth Management business. He contributes to the analysis and construction of the Alternatives Funds selection process, the strategic and tactical asset allocation management for the Multi-Asset Class portfolios (MAP) and the Review Panel for the Approved Products List. His background includes Fixed Income, Derivatives, Foreign Exchange and Equity trading, and direct Property Investment, together with investment and advisory experience in early-stage innovation, Venture Capital, Private Equity, pre-IPO and listed transactions. He is also a Co-Founder, Partner and Investment Committee Member of Seed Space Venture Capital, a specialist early stage Fintech investment fund.

Giuseppe Boemo
Investment Committee
Focus: As an integral part of Alpine Capital's Investment Committee, Giuseppe contributes to the analysis and construction of our Alternatives Funds selection process as well as the strategic and tactical asset allocation management of the liquid ETF based Multi-Asset Class portfolios (MAPs). His expertise spans specialised private market transactions, research, and analysis of unique investment opportunities for HNW, Family Office and institutional investors. His insights are key in constructing multi-asset investment portfolios for our diverse clientele. Giuseppe's advisory experience is rooted in early-stage innovation, Venture Capital, and Private Equity. He is a founding member of Seed Space Advisory and an Investment Committee Member of Seed Space Venture Capital, a specialist early-stage Fintech investment fund.
